Fortnightly magazine with die cast hand painted GW characters.
You know those magazine subscriptions you get from the newsagents, with those neat hand painted metal figures that cost around £5?
Wouldn't it be great to have one based on Guild Wars?
The figures could be issued in chronological order starting off with a Charr warrior perhaps.
The magazine could be filled with interviews, lore, fan art, GW knowledge quizzes/puzzles, an upcoming events page, screenshots/posters.
I just got the idea while looking at some other figures i have here next to me in my cabinet, based on medieval warriors. I'd much rather have Guild Wars characters in there.
3" die cast Prince Rurik FTW!

I was thinking about a side-story for Guild Wars, but i can only picture it , i cant draw as good as i would like to, i dont know how to make animations, i dont know how to draw at the computer, i dont have the tools.
Plus, i would need some oficial info from a.net about guildwars, i wouldnt want to make a story based on theories from the lore section from gwguru.
Also, i dont have the time to put all the pieces now. Maybe at january

Noooo don't give DeAgostini (or any other company of the type) the idea... They take everything possible, make a subscription magazine, make the first issue or two half price, then the rest £5+ for about 70 issues, what seems cheap to start with ends up being a few hundred quid down the drain for a sub standard magazine and some small chunks of metal which would cost <£50 by themselves...

Something I thought would be cool is Guild Wars merchandise that comes with item keys and such. For example, buy the "Guild Wars Dragon Sword" T-shirt which has the Guild Wars logo and a Fiery Dragon Sword forming an X with an Icy Dragon Sword on the back. The shirt comes with a key that allows you to give your character a Fiery Dragon Sword.
Maybe even "Luxon Chest Armor T-Shirt" which is a T-Shirt with a Luxon Chest Armor design, and it gives you an unlock for a "Luxon Armor Requisition" that gives you one free piece of Luxon armor?
Maybe a Shiro Action Figure that comes with a free Shiro's Daggers?
Of course these are just stupid examples but I think something like that with a little merchandise would be pretty cool.

See, now That is a good idea.
But You'd need to make individual molds for each different peice of armour, painting might not be that big of a problem, but its the armours.
26 for each Profetion? x 10 Profetions? Too many without making the price too big.

Hm.. I still have some old Warhammer stuff laying around, maybe I should make my GW characters there.
Anyway, I wouldn't buy something like this, but I'm sure the Cynn model market is scaringly large. Wouldn't hurt to have the other standard npcs, Mhenlo, Aidan, Devona and Eve, as well.
